BLINDSKUNK - Gyroscopic Video Stabilization

I've been starting to use video a bit for my music productions, and wanted to see if I could make a

cheapish stabilizer for a HiDef Video Camera..so that walking with the camera or car mounted could be smoothed out.

This is the start of the project so, please bare with me as I do some experimentation.

Here is a picture of the initial setup...attached to a Sony HRD CX100

I've simply suspended it with some string for the photograph...

The 2 Gyroscopes are quite powerful and have a gread dampening effect...

I will try and upload some test footage with it on and off

One thing to be noted, is that a seperate sound recording equipment will be required as the noise generated by the gyros, renders the video camera mic useless...
