Wow. (1-APR-2010) Wow...The Year has really wizzed by !!! Its Already April...though I should write something on here, as my usual comments are put on FACEBOOK !! Nearly non-stop airconditioner.  With temperatures in the top 30's most of the time, its been hard to get down to making music. Its been a while since writing the last Blog, but work has continued. (28-SEP-2009) Its been a while since writing the last Blog, but work has continued... The First video is now out and slowly building traffic... After this I decided to re-do one of the older tracks in 3D and this ones going to take a while to create, as the computer is currently on fram 170 of about 8000...with a typical render time of about a minute ! Hopefully the 3D style is a bit more complete...You wont see BLINDY walk yet...but give me a few weeks and I recon the Next video might have him dancing.....

(18-SEP-2009) The 3D Animated Music Video Finally put the finishing touches to the Music Video I have been creating over the last four or five weeks. Things really came together this week with the last renderings of the animation in place on Wednesday. I completed the mixing of the music and video last night. The major time consumption of this piece was the 3D rendering in Poser 8.  Animation consisting of about 1000 frames in total, taking a good few hours of dedicated computing.....

The heat is on ! After taking more than 3 hours to render 175 frames at full quality, decided. (10-SEP-2009) The heat is on ! After taking more than 3 hours to render 175 frames at full quality, decided..that the way forward is to render in low quality and bring all the sections together (avi's) in Vegas, to create the whole video... Mix it in Vegas as a finished product (all in low quality) to see how the video plays out. Then render the seperate avi's later. This works well as Vegas links to the individual avi's, so  I can render those later and overwrite the draft ones as I go. .....

First of the month. (1-SEP-2009) First of the month...and its been a while since last blog... I've just started a new era in development and attempting to write a music video (in 3d) for a piece I created... Since getting hold of a 3D version of Blindskunk...I have started to put together a cool animation using the 3d model... hopefully it will be fun to watch and listen too I need someone to re-mix my tune, to bring some life into it...so any taker... Just put the finishing touches to a piece I wrote a month ago for a DVD backround tune for a client. I've extended it and created a complete track. Using a very good clip off "Internet Film Archive" - I stitched together 2 other clips to complete the piece. Think it looks quite good..and definitely goes with the music. This is so I produce some interesting videos for my music, its all a big learning curve, but great fun...Just need more time in a day ! With a bit of flash coding I recon this could allow alot more unusual effects to be made within Flash, such as picture rotation or even drawing on the screen.... Hi-Def Camera Temptation. (2-AUG-2009) Hi-Def Camera Temptation. The temptation to buy a video camera is pretty high today...as I might be going close to a electronics store, to buy some computer equipment. I've been using the iPhone up to now (3GS) as used to film  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKOxUWI3IwU) - but as the iPhone is only a basic lens the quality isn't as good as a proper camera. I guess I should go for a HD unit with internal HD as this will produce the best res.....

For you out there unfamiliar with GrandVJ, its video DJ application allowing the triggering of visuals from the simple signals from MIDI. This allows the midi signals to be recorded while VJ'ing and therfore a reproducable video production. So.....
